About Us

The UC San Diego Center for Healthcare Cybersecurity is a multidisciplinary center dedicated to understanding and reducing the impact of cyber threats on healthcare delivery. By integrating clinical expertise with technical research, the Center develops practical strategies, tools, and evidence that support patient safety and healthcare resilience.

In healthcare, cyber incidents can do far more than disrupt IT systems—they can delay treatment, interrupt operations, and compromise continuity of care. CHC focuses on helping healthcare organizations better prepare for, respond to, and recover from these disruptions.
